GET GROW’IN YOUTH
Growing Strong Together
Adolescence can be a challenging time, especially for young people navigating mental health concerns. GET GROW’IN YOUTH was created as an extension of the Grow program to provide teens ages 16–20 with a safe, supportive, and encouraging space where they can grow emotionally, mentally, and socially.
This program focuses on helping youth build confidence, strengthen coping skills, and develop meaningful connections with peers who understand what they’re going through. Through positive engagement, group interaction, and community-based activities, participants are reminded that they are not alone — and that growth happens best together.
GET GROW’IN YOUTH is not about judgment or labels. It’s about meeting young people where they are, listening to their experiences, and empowering them to move forward at their own pace. We emphasize respect, honesty, and support while encouraging healthy communication, self-expression, and personal growth.
Our goal is to help teens feel seen, heard, and valued while developing the tools they need to navigate life’s challenges. By fostering a sense of belonging and community, we help youth build resilience and confidence that extends beyond the program.
At Grow, we believe that early support matters. GET GROW’IN YOUTH is one more way we are investing in the well-being of the next generation.
Growing Strong Together.

“Being part of the Grow Mental Health community has truly changed my life. When I first joined the program, I struggled deeply with how I felt about myself—I would rate my self-worth at about a one. Over time, through the support, connection, and encouragement I found at Grow, I’ve grown to a five. That may not sound like much to some, but for me, it means everything. Many people never reach that place, and I’m proud to be here.
Grow has helped me improve my social life and strengthen my relationships with my family. I’m no longer lonely, and for the first time in a long time, I feel like a valuable person. I’ve also learned how important it is to make time for myself. Because of that, I’m now starting to take vacations and truly enjoy life in ways I never thought I could.
After 15 years with Grow, I can honestly say this community gave me support, purpose, and connection—and helped me become a healthier, happier version of myself.”

Growers Testimony

Member of the Grow in America

Community for 20 years

Through my involvement with Grow in America, I gained valuable coping skills and benefited greatly from their peer-to-peer support, which played a significant role in building my confidence. Working with Grow and other support groups helped me successfully transition out of guardianship and become fully independent.

Today, I manage my own affairs, serve as my own payee, and work full-time—milestones that once felt impossible when I first began this journey. None of this would have been achievable without the support and guidance of Grow in America. Their programs empowered me to improve my life, take responsibility for myself, and grow into a stronger, more confident person.

"I was referred to Grow by my counselor at a time when I felt emotionally disconnected and had difficulty trusting others. Relationships didn’t mean much to me. After hearing Dr. Henry Cloud on a call-in show, I realized I needed to reconnect with my own heart. I joined Grow in May 2022, and it transformed my life. Before, I avoided people and had no faith in social connection. Now, thanks to Grow, my social skills have flourished. I trust others, I build meaningful relationships, and I feel genuinely alive. Grow helped me turn everything around."
